Anything But A Card

I'm not a big fan for the Anything But A Card challenges, I always chicken away from them, but this is what this week is all about at I ♥ Promarkers and so I definitely had to give it a go. Mind you, I nearly chickened away as well, but after much thought and struggle, I finally managed to make a calendar ... and I can tell you, I was so happy that I did it. Really loved how it turned out too!!

Quite simple really it was too and it still has all the fun stuff ...  digi paper, die-cut flowers, border and butterfly and a bow as well to finish it off.

For an image I decided that it had to be a really cute one that would make you smile and you wouldn't mind seeing day after day, so I used this darling digi 'Thanks' from Mo.. here is a close up..

We are this week sponsored by Marianne Design
and the prize for the lucky winner is

Good morning to all.. another Wednesday, another card, another season and tomorrow it's also another month! Wow how time flies! Can't believe Summer is already gone and we are in Autumn now, school has started again and with it the awful traffic :(  Still enjoying lovely weather over here, but it's already getting cooler as I felt it this morning when I went out for my run! Next month sees me going off to Cremona, Italy to participate in a race and it's also a short holiday for me and hubby, so am really looking forward to this as hubby has been especially busy since he changed his job!

Anyway, got me a cute Baby Boy card today for this week's new challenge at

The theme for this week is
so thought this baby card would be just perfect for this theme.

A very quick card it was. The cute rubber stamp is Whimsy Stamps which I colored with my promarkers. Used stars and alphabet die cuts for the baby's name and I had bought the cute ducklings embellishments from EBay.
The background DP is from the Forever Friends New Arrivals paper pack.

We are this week sponsored by Opal Crafts
and the lucky winner gets a GBP10 voucher to spend in the store.

Get Well

Hello everyone. Last time I posted was on a Saturday and I was mentioning that I would be working as an Extra in the film Assasin's Creed and so that is done now, they are still filming, but I worked for four full days and I can tell you it was tiring but very exciting :) We worked on a scene where Michael Fassbender is captured and he of course manages to get away as we wanted to burn him :P I was part of the crowd and we were chanting 'burn burn burn' and in this scene I came face to face with Michael ha ha .... the cherry on the cake would be if I see myself, which is very unlikely, and even then if I will, I am unrecognisable as I was wearing a wig, a hat, really ugly clothes and my face was all painted white and black !!! Soooo looking forward for the film to come out next year :) Can't wait!

Anyway, I have my DT card today for the new challenge that started today at
and the challenge for this week is

We were so lucky to get to choose an image from our sponsor QKR Stampede to make our card and I chose this really cute image Laughter.

To make the hearts I used a die from Simon Says, while a Memory Box for the flower at the back. DP were magazine freebies. Quite a quick card but I loved how it turned out.

I really love challenges as they always make me do better cards. So how many can you add?

And our second sponsor is A Random Fan. The prize is 3 digi images of the winner's choice.

So two chances to win, and two reasons to play with us this week.

Sweet Treats

Yesterday in Malta it was a Public Holiday. Being such a nice Summer day I thought we would go to the pool as usual, but no, hubby didn't feel like it, and me... well.. we've been going to the pool or the beach nearly every weekend so I didn't complain and I just spent it in my craft room.... like I used to do quite some time ago... aaah pure bliss :)
Don't you just wish that everyday was a public holiday!!
I just know what I would do.. First I would fix up my craft room, because it's always in a real big mess, then I would give a good makeover to our house, then I would do whatever else that I always keep putting off, and then when I'm done.... I would get into a nice and easy routine, doing the housework, cooking etc in a more relaxed time, have time for my training and exercises and leaving enough time for my hobbies, card-making of course, sewing and hopefully starting to draw again .... dreams dreams dreams.. but I have to wait for now, maybe until the day I can retire or win the lottery ha ha ha :P

Anyway, on to my DT card now for the new challenge that started today at
I ♥ Promarkers

The theme for this week is

For this week I decided to use one of my gorgeous stamps from Lili of the Valley, I thought this cute cat would be just perfect for our theme! The background paper and banners paper is from my Bo Bunny paperpack. To do the banners, not having a banner die, I used a sentiment die , using just the ends of it... I think it came out quite good, really pleased.

Used quite a few dies this time.. there is also the balloons dies from XCut, while the zig zag die is Spellbinders. I'm really pleased with how my card turned out this time.. It really does show when you are relaxed and having fun, not tight on time as I always am lately!!!

We are this week sponsored by
Clearly Besotted Stamps and Dies and the prize is £15.00 voucher to spend in the store.

Use The Color Blue

A day late this time with my DT card for this week's new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers . Today I decided to leave early from work and take some time off so try to catch up on my card making but when I got home I ended up clearing up after the boys and having lunch with them, and so I only ended up making just one card as before I knew it it was already time to go for my training! Just lately I joined a running club and so have to keep with the training schedule.

Anyway, back to my card.. and this week the challenge is

For my card this time we got to choose our image from our Sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and I chose this really cute Beary Happy Bear.

The little coloring that I did, I did with my promarkers, using just the lightest blue and grey, some pink and also some ivory on the envelope that the teddy is holding. I really loved how he turned out.

The prize for the lucky winner this week is a $10 voucher to spend in the store.

I hope you will be able to join us.
