Anything Goes at Crafty Friends

Hello everyone. It's very rare for me to be posting on a Saturday, in fact this is a scheduled post today as at the moment I'm in Gozo for the weekend :)  ... but today is special as the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog has opened again and all the old teamies have been asked to join again. I have of course accepted, and so, as from today the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog is up and running again with the first challenge going on live today :)

There will be two teams and I will be in Team 2, posting bi-weekly, but for today, both teams will be taking part and the theme for this week is

For my card I got to choose an image from one of our sponsor Beccy's Place and I chose this pretty image Bird and Blossom. I have colored it with my promarkers, used leaves and border dies from Marianne Design and flowers die from Nellie's Choice. The background DP was a freebie in a magazine.

I hope you will be able to join us for our first challenge. Check out the blog for details of the prizes and of course to see all the other gorgeous cards created by our lovely teamies.

Thank you for looking.

I'll be back with some challenges.

Good evening everyone.... so late with my post this week! This weekend we were at our Summer residence in Qawra so were quite busy with the packing, unpacking and setting up of all, but as always, it is worth the hassle.

Anyway, back onto my DT Card for this week at
and the theme this week is

.. my favourite season :)

For this week, to make our card, we were so lucky again to be able to choose a digi image from our sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Images and I chose this beautiful image Spring Meadow. I thought it would be perfect for our theme, even though it's name doesn't mention Summer.. and so for a Summer theme I added the sun rays which I did using yellow ink and my clear stamp from Some Odd Girl.

The background DP is from my Me & My Big Ideas Paperpack and there are two different leaves dies, the butterfly punch from MS, the clouds dies and banners as well. I really love how it turned out.

The prize from our sponsor for this week is a $10 voucher to spend in the store.

Now I got some really great news .... it must have been my lucky week .. as first I found out that I did the Top 3 with my Father's Day card at the Mod Squad Challenge :)

and then I also found out that I won a gift voucher from Doodle Pantry at Creative Knockouts with the same card :) He he so fun.. it's been such a long time :)

Things With Wings

Hello everyone. I'm at the office at the moment...  well not really.... I'm actually at home now writing this post but when the post will go up I will be at the office :P
So it's Wednesday today and it's one of those days when I have my fitness classes in the evening. Last week I was in a dilemma as I didn't know what to do, if to go to the new premises or not. I decided to give it a shot on Monday, but didn't like the trip at all, arrived late, and then parking was a disaster !!!! So today I decided to go to the gym which is just 5 mins away from where I live, and to try the classes held there as well. Will see how it goes.

Anyway, enough babbling on my dilemmas and onto my DT card for this week now.

This week the theme at I ♥ Promarkers is

What a fun and easy theme I think. So many possibilities! I decided on this cute image Dancing Angel, which I was so lucky to get from our sponsor QKR Stampede to make my card.

On seeing the image I immediately remembered some DP that I had with a patchwork design and thought it would be just great with my angel. Added more wings with the butterflies, pearls and flowers die-cut, sentiment, ribbon and a bow to finish it off.

The prize from our sponsor for this week gets 3 digi images of the winners' choice.

I hope you will be able to join us this week.

Will come back with some challenges.

Father's Day

Yesterday I ended up not doing the housework I needed so much to do and just spent a whole day crafting :) so the house is still a big mess ... including my craft-room which is the worst of course!!! Bits of paper, dies, stamps, markers everywhere, well anything you can imagine after a day of crafting. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.  Housework will have to wait until tomorrow.

Today again no classes, and I'm soooo frustrated. Hubby just can't stand me any longer and he was so relieved that he had a dinner planned out with friends. So I alone here I thought I would share another of the cards that I did yesterday before doing some more crafting.

Here it is, another father's day card with the fishing theme.

This time I used a digi image which I found free on the internet. I realised I didn't have much stamps or digis for male cards, only cute ones which I don't really like. Luckily I found this one which I thought was really fun. I printed it in brown instead of the usual black outline.

The background sea theme DP was a freebie in a magazine, while the yellow one was in the We R Memory Keepers paper pad. Quite a quick card this was. I just used my Spellbinders die to do the zig zag pattern, added some twine, clouds die and of course the sentiment.

Entering my card in these challenges today.

Father's Day

Since I started working again full time and changing my lifestyle to doing loads of fitness training I of course haven't been able to find much time for my blog here. It had to be only just to share my DT at I ♥ Promarkers, but today, having a day off at home, I thought I would share this Father's Day card that I made before I start to do what actually I took the day off for... ..

Here it is.. I love this rubber stamp, a friend had given it to me a long long time ago but I don't know the make unfortunately. I colored it with my markers and used DP from WeR Memory Keepers.

I added doodling and finished it off with twine, a fish charm, card candy and two dies as well. I printed the sentiment on the computer.

Well I better get going to start doing some housework.. the house is a big mess :(

I am entering my card in these challenges today.

Hello again, good afternoon to all, hope everyone is well.
I'm a little sad today as we were notified that all the fitness classes have been cancelled for this week and that we will be moving to other premises as from next Monday. These however are much much much farther away so I'm in a real dilemma.... go to other classes with gym included, same price and 5 min away or try the new premises???? !!! grrr ... I got so used to this routine :(
Anyway, it's time for another new challenge at
and this week the theme is

For my card this week I decided to make a baby card and use a new rubber stamp that I have just bought from Lili of the Valley. I thought it would be perfect for this theme, since it had the pram for the transport theme and thought I would surely find good use to it.

I have of course colored it with my promarkers, the background DP is from Papermania and used my die cutters from Spellbinders, Shape Dies and Crafty Sentiments. I finished it off with some gems, a pretty BABY banner, a bow and an MS tiny tag punch.

I really loved how it turned out.
We are this week sponsored by
and the prize for this week is 2 digi images of the winners' choice.

I am entering my card in these challenges today.
